30 Day Challenge

30 Day Challenge – Day 7

Good morning! If we are being brutally honest, which I am, my out of my comfort zone thing I did yesterday was share the link to this blog on social media. Which is the reason half of you are even reading this. Obviously, that is the whole goal of this – holding myself accountable for being the best me possible and me sharing my story to make others realize theirs is worth sharing too – but it is still terrifying. Like, I closed my eyes when I hit the publish button scary. But, as I told a friend the other day, you can’t grow when you stay inside your comfort zone.

Beyond that, I learned yesterday how to walk in a floor length dress and NOT step on the train and rip it like I did my high school prom dress (Okay, so I actually only ripped out the ribbon that held the bustle in place but still – almost fell over several times). I have Spring Formal with Sigma Kappa this weekend and have a beautiful dress but was seriously struggling with this whole ‘I have a foot of material trailing behind my body’ thing. Almost comical enough we should have taken a video, but we didn’t. And I decided to wear a different dress because that whole ‘ripping of the bustle’ issue I had at prom is still seared into my memory and I really don’t want to ruin a beautiful dress. Anyways, you will see pictures in a few days so enough about that for the moment.

I didn’t take pictures yesterday so we have no picture today, just a lot of words on a page. So, congrats if you made it this far! I hope y’all have a great and fun filled day!
