The Everyday Oils Kit

This is the OG Premium Starter Kit. Seriously, this is the kit most people start out with. It has 12 full-size oils, a diffuser of your choice, 2 roller fitments, Thieves Hand Sanitizer, Thieves Cleaner Spray, and 2 packets of NingXia Red, all for $165.00. And the oils it comes with are some of the most used oils Young Living sells. Here are a few examples of how I use the oils in the kit:

Peppermint Vitality: Peppermint is one of my favorite smells in the world so I diffuse this all the time. I also LOVE it in my hot chocolate and in my dark chocolate. #FunFact – studies have been done showing that adding one drop of peppermint essential oil to your water before a workout actually expands your lung capacity during your workout!
Thieves Vitality: A drop in apple cider = fall favorite. Also, my Wellness roller is 10-15 drops of Thieves plus carrier oil that gets rolled on my feet and my spine at least twice a day to help boost my immune system. P.S. the story of how this oil got its name is my fav.
Lemon Vitality: Lemon water. Nature’s Sticky-Be-Gone. Spring fresh smell. Clean everything smell. Do I need to say more?
Citrus Fresh Vitality: Think about the water you get at the spa or a fancy hotel. Love that taste? Citrus Fresh is your new best bud. In addition to citrus oils, it has a splash of Spearmint which enhances the brightness of flavor and smell.
Frankincense: All things skincare, health, and grounding. Not kidding here, I basically got my kit for the Frankincense because basically this oil plus a diffuser is the cost of the kit and I wanted to use it on my face. The first night I had Frankincense, I put it all over my face then went to sleep. The next morning my roommate looks at me and goes “Did you get a new face wash or something? Your breakouts are way smaller, the redness is completely gone, and your face is practically glowing.” I was hooked from that moment on.
Lavender: Nickname – The Swiss-Army Knife of Oils. Skin care, sleep support, burn soother, owie soother, etc. I actually burned my finger on my straighter a few weeks ago and, after running my hand under room-temp water, I applied Lavender like a crazy person. A few hours later, not even a mark remained.
Panaway: Lives in my gym bag for sore muscles except when I have period cramps then it gets rubbed on my lower abdomen.
Stress Away: Vanilla yumminess. I love this smell and the fact that it helps me chill out when I get super stressed (yes, the name is fitting).
Raven: 1-2 drops in the shower when I get stuffy and a drop with carrier oil on my chest at night when the weather changes and it is hard for me to breathe.
Valor: Smells like – blueberries and yumminess. Bravery oil that helps me manage my anxiety attacks.
Peace & Calming: All the sleep support right here. I also have several friends that use this on their baby’s feet/forehead when a tantrum is happening and right before bed to help calm the child down.
Digize Vitality: Digestion support (hence the name). This is super helpful with a roller top when my acid reflux flairs up or my stomach starts to ache because I ate something that didn’t like me.

Okay so beyond the oils, you also get a diffuser that you get to choose. The Desert Mist is my favorite because I love all the colors and how long it runs. The Aria has a glass dome and is made for larger areas, like your living room or kitchen. Also, the kit is the best way to get the Aria diffuser. The other two diffusers you can choose from are the Dewdrop or Rainstone diffuser. All 4 are fantastic options, but just so you are aware of pricing, the kit with the Aria diffuser is $265, the kit with the Rainstone is $210, while either the Dewdrop and Desert Mist kits are $165.

The rest of what comes in the kit is 2 roller filaments that pop right on the top of any bottle of oil (I recommend Digize for one of them), 2 packets of NingXia Red – an antioxidant powerhouse drink, Thieves Hand Sanitizer – FDA approved to kill 99.99% of germs, and the Thieves Cleaner Spray – a portable, premade version of the Thieves Household Cleaner that I literally use to clean everything in my house from the toilet to the window.

This is the best way to try oils if you are at all curious, as you get the best bang for your back. Here is the breakdown of what all comes in the kit by price if you are a numbers person like me.

Savvy Mineral Starter Kit

This is the makeup starter kit and the BEST way to get clean makeup. There is SO MUCH JUNK in traditional makeup and it is pretty awful for you and full of hormone disruptors which mess with basically every function of your body. The reason I actually starter looking into clean makeup was because I learned that there are literal bugs and guts and animal parts being used in traditional makeup and the thought of putting dead bugs on my lips in my red lipstick really grossed me out.

Savvy is clean beauty that is 100% plant-based, cruelty-free, and bans over 20 more ingredients than the 1,328 ingredients banned by the EU including talc and bismuth. I specify those two ingredients because I know several women whose doctors have told the to not use makeup with those ingredients and there are less than 10 companies that sell makeup without talc or bismuth.

The Savvy Makeup Premium Starter Kit comes with foundation, blush, 3 eyeshadow colors, a lip gloss, misting spray, a foundation brush, and a 5 ml bottle of Lavender Essential Oil (great for skin support) all for $150.00. There are 4 kits to choose from each based on a different foundation color – Cool 2, Warm 2, Dark 1, and Dark 4. The idea of picking a shade of foundation without trying it first can be a bit scary, but there is a method to this madness, I promise. If you look better in silver jewelry and wearing bright white or black hues, you are probably cool toned. If you look better in gold jewelry and wearing ivory/off-white and tan, you are probably warm toned (for reference, I am warm toned).

I have always been more of a lipstick girl than a lip gloss girl – red lipstick has always been my go-to because it looks fab on me – but I actually really like Yong Living’s lip gloss. It isn’t sticky and tacky for hours after you apply it and the colors are really pretty.

The Thieves Starter Kit

All Things Cleaning! I am planning on doing an experiment with Thieves v. a few other store-bought cleaners in a few weeks so I will link that here when I do it. But, in the mean time, let me just tell you, I literally use Thieves Household Cleaner to clean my whole house, from my toilet to my windows to my kitchen counters. It works fantastic on everything.

The hand soap smells like Christmas is here all year, the whitening toothpaste literally works better than any toothpaste I have ever used and every time I use the hand sanitizer, someone comments on how good and refreshing it smells. In addition to all the cleaning goodness you get, you also get Thieves mouthwash, Thieves mints, 2 packets of NingXia Red, a 5 ml bottle of Stress Away Essential Oil, and a 15 ml bottle of Thieves Essential Oil (see above for how I use these 2 oils) all for $160.00. Oh, did I mention that to make a bottle of Thieves Cleaner, you take a 16 oz glass spray bottle, pour ONE CAPFUL of Thieves Household Cleaner in to the bottle, fill the rest with water, then get cleaning? This is true plant-based cleaner which means no harmful chemicals or poisons are being used so Poison Control doesn’t have to be called.

NingXia Red Starter Kit

I’m gonna be real honest with you here, if I hadn’t found a really cool cookbook on Superfoods, I wouldn’t know what antioxidants are or why I should care about them. If are like I was, antioxidants fight free radicals. I know that is weird biology lingo but bear with me please. Free radicals are basically your cells’ version of oxidation which metals do when you leave them outside and they rust. Antioxidants work with your body to remove and destroy the free radicals that are chilling in your cells. Basically imagine removing rust from the gears of a bike – suddenly the bike works a lot smoother, better, and faster than before.

The USDA ranked tons of foods based on their anti-oxidant level on a scale called the ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity). The ORAC score of Ningxia wolfberries is over 300,000.
